Promolont International Names Pearce as Chairman of the Board

Promolont International Inc. has announced that Mr. Phil E. Pearce has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Pearce is an independent business consultant, and a board member of a number of domestic and internationally headquartered companies. During his career, he has served as Senior Vice President and Director of E.F. Hutton, Chairman of the Board of Governors for the National Association of Securities Dealers, Governor of the New York Stock Exchange, and a member of the advisory council to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on the Institutional Study of the Stock Markets. Mr. Pearce has been a featured speaker to the European Economic Committee in Belgium, representing the United States on a symposium of public disclosures. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and the Wharton School of Investment Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.
